A Noosa practice of three solicitors and two paralegals.
BJH Law is based in Noosa. The work is criminal law, family law and domestic violence, including the overlap between those areas. Lawyers travel to Townsville, Mackay, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast courts.
The public face of this firm is not a chain of city offices. It is a five-person practice that lives in Noosa and appears where the court list requires it. Meeting rooms in Townsville and Mackay are used by appointment. They are not advertised as staffed branches.

Brad did not go straight into law from school. After leaving school he spent a year in Central Queensland trying to be a jackeroo. He later enlisted in the Army, beginning in Signals Corps and finishing in Intelligence Corps. After leaving the Army he worked in coal mining in the Bowen Basin. That is where the interest in Acts and regulations became a decision to study law.
The work that suits him is criminal law, the overlap between criminal law and family law, and domestic violence. He treats early advice as something people should be able to get without being afraid that a first message immediately starts a bill. Urgent messages can go to the practice phone and are answered by him or staff.
